Angels still in a battle with Rangers
Over the past decade, it’s been almost a forgone conclusion that the Los Angeles Angels would win the American League West title.
The Seattle Mariners had a short run where they provided some competition as did the Oakland Athletics, but it’s been pretty much smooth sailing for the Angels.
The Texas Rangers, however, are making it a little bit more challenging this year for Los Angeles.
Usually, the Rangers get off to a decent start but then fade fast because of their weak starting pitching. That doesn’t look like it’s going to happen this year, so the Angels will have to stay sharp through the stretch run.
