Angels seek to hit the road
It will take time for the Angels to return to normalcy after the loss of rookie pitcher Nick Adenhart, who was killed in a car accident by a drunk driver, but the Angels hope to find their sanctuary on the road.
“We’re still numb, we’re still cloudy,” center fielder Torii Hunter said. “You sit in the clubhouse and keep waiting for him to come in. … I think it will be good for us to get a change of scenery. It will kind of ice the swelling.”
They begin a six-game trip in Seattle—the Angels’ first games away from home since
Adenharrt and two of his friends passed.
